On International Women’s Day, March 8th, ARLA will be closed in solidarity with women around the US and the world.
The organizers of the Women’s March have called for this strike in “recognition of the enormous value that women of all backgrounds add to our socio-economic system — and the pervasive and systemic gender-based inequalities that still exist within our society, from the wage gap, to vulnerability to discrimination, sexual harassment, and job insecurity.” We are proud to stand with them for equity, justice, and the human rights of women.
