A Spur for C.J. Box

C.J. Box’s OFF THE GRID has won the Western Writers of America Spur Award for Best Western Contemporary Novel! More details after the jump:

Since 1953, the Spur awards have been awarded to honor the best in Western literature. This year, OFF THE GRID becomes the second Joe Pickett novel to be recognized by the Western Writers of America – OPEN SEASON was a Spur finalist in 2002. C.J. Box’s win was announced at the Tucson Festival of Books, and he and the other Spur winners will be honored at the WWA’s convention in June.
