Lots of exciting things are happening right now to a certain idiot in Montreal! (We’re referring to the protagonist of YOU COMMA IDIOT, of course, not its author, Doug Harris!)

FORCE OF NATURE, C.J. Box’s twelfth installment in the Joe Pickett series, comes out next month, and we’re thrilled to tell you that Publishers Weekly and Booklist have given it starred reviews!
All of those starred reviews should have been a clue, but we have to admit that we were absolutely stunned at the number of awards that Edward J. Delaney’s BROKEN IRISH won!
Not only was BROKEN IRISH the New England Book Festival Grand Prize Winner and the winner of the Booklist Editor’s Choice Award, USA Today, The Morning News, and Michael Patrick Brady of The Boston Globe also named the book as one of the best of 2011!
Congratulations, Ted!
…because we have two servings of Fusilli for you today! Jim Fusilli discusses Mafia entertainment with the Wall Street Journal and his “creative midlife crisis” with Author Magazine.
We’re utterly delighted to tell you that C.J. Box has made another year-end best-of list! The Seattle Times chose BACK OF BEYOND as one of 2011′s best mysteries, saying, “Wyoming native Box is a gripping writer and a shrewd observer of his state’s rugged wilderness.”
Laura Whitcomb’s A CERTAIN SLANT OF LIGHT is in some very fine company on Stylist’s list of the 100 best opening lines from books!
