Melissa Scott Sinclair

Melissa Scott Sinclair grew up in a hilltop house in northeast Baltimore. She earned her B.A. in journalism from the University of Delaware and has worked as a reporter for alt-weekly Style in Richmond, Va., and The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, among other publications. Her work has been recognized by the Virginia Press Association and the Association of Alternative Newsmedia.

Melissa's creative nonfiction has been published in Nine Lives: A Life in 10 Minutes Anthology. Her short story “Everything Must Go,” a ghost story set in the decaying corporate headquarters of Circuit City, appeared in the Richmond Macabre anthology. Melissa resides in Richmond, where she’s a freelance journalist and columnist.
