2025 was a great year for books, and our authors specifically!

Dennis Lehane’s SMALL MERCIES continues to sell all over the world, and his Apple TV+ series SMOKE, starring Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett, premiered to great acclaim.

Matt Kracht continued his successful Dumb Birds series with THE WORST BIRDS EVER, and had a guest appearance on The Today Show with Al Roker! The segment will re-air on January 1st, and follow along next year for even more Dumb Birds merchandise.

Dan Fesperman’s spy novel PARIAH was a hit, and one of CrimeReads Best Books of the Year. We’re also so excited to see Gideon Raff’s television adaptation of SAFE HOUSES, which will start shooting in 2026!

Paul Doiron released a collection of Mike Bowditch short stories, SKIN AND BONES, which had previously only been published in e-Book form. Mike will return in his next adventure in the spring, STORM TIDE!

C. J. Box released his twenty-fifth installment in his Joe Pickett series, BATTLE MOUNTAIN, which debuted at #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list! The bombshell twenty-sixth installment, THE CROSSROADS, where Joe’s daughters have to find the man who put him in a coma, hits shelves in February.

In company news, we launched our new website this year, which you’re looking at right now! We had a lot of fun working on it. We hope to connect with you over books in the new year!
