2023 was another amazing year for reading!
Sterling Watson’s NIGHT LETTER was published! Publisher’s Weekly said “Watson evocatively blends the dreamy, hormonally addled banality of teen life with the existential anxieties of lost innocence and regret. ”
The 23rd installment in C.J. Box’s Joe Pickett series, STORM WATCH, was released and debuted at #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list! Bookpage said it was “the most intricately plotted and fully realized installment in the series so far.”
Matt Kracht released his masterpiece OMFG, BEES! Bees Are So Amazing and You’re About to Find Out Why. Matt’s razor sharp wit and endless knowledge shine through so well!
And finally, Dennis Lehane made his triumphant return to novel writing with the hit SMALL MERCIES. It debuted at #5 on the New York Times Bestseller List, it continues to show up on Best of 2023 lists, and it will be turned into an Apple TV+ show adapted by Lehane himself! We certainly have not heard the end of praise for Small Mercies!
