One Week ‘Til Big Sky!

Big Sky, the ABC show based on C.J. Box’s Cassie Dewell novels (beginning with the storyline of THE HIGHWAY), premieres in just one week! Here’s a taste of the latest press:

The Hollywood Reporter – “After Massive Trailer Debut, ABC Sets Virtual Premiere Event for David E. Kelley’s ‘Big Sky’”
“ABC’s new drama series Big Sky from uber-producer David E. Kelley snagged a few headlines when the trailer dropped in October thanks to views that topped 25 million in the first three days, including 12.2 million on Twitter alone. Now to celebrate Kelley’s return to network television after such high-profile cable dramas as Big Little Lies and The Undoing, ABC is pulling out all the stops for an exclusive Nov. 12 virtual premiere event.”

Rolling Stone – “Best Movies/TV to See in November”

The AV Club – “What to Watch on TV This November”
“HBO isn’t the only network partnering with David E. Kelley this fall—ABC has reteamed with the Practice and Ally McBeal creator for Big Sky, a new procedural drama based on C.J. Box’s 2013 novel, The Highway…Big Sky’s already being touted as having Twin Peaks vibes, with its endangered young women, remote setting, and great character actors like John Carroll Lynch. The drama also stars Ryan Phillippe, Kylie Bunbury, Katheryn Winnick, Natalie Alyn Lind, and Jade Pettyjohn. Big Sky’s first trailer debuted to great interest, racking up over 25 million views in its first three days online.”

BBC – “Eight TV Shows to Watch in November”

The Game of Nerds – “Four Fall TV Shows Adapted from Books”
“Is the west still wild? It’s definitely still got plenty of room to hide in the dark. C.J. Box has more books about Cody Hoyt and Cassie Dewell up his sleeve, but this kidnapping mystery is a great place to break into his book about the law enforcement officers of Montana.”

If you missed the full trailer, it’s here – and here’s a fun behind-the-scenes featurette.

Big Sky premieres on Tuesday, November 17th at 10EST/9CST on ABC.
