Dennis Lehane fans are in for a real treat in September! Not only will there be a new novel called THE DROP, there will also be a film of the same name!
In their starred review, Booklist calls the novel “a tight, gritty little tale of working-class crime in Boston, reminiscent not only of Lehane’s earlier crime fiction, but also of the work of the great George V. Higgins.”
Publishers Weekly calls it a “gritty gem” and a “stark and moving short novel.”
