AhFest Features Dennis Lehane

screen-shot-2016-10-13-at-12-07-40-pmThe Hollywood Reporter recently called Dennis Lehane’s work “catnip for A-list talent (think Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood).” So it’s no surprise that the Muskegon Area Arts & Humanities Festival – AhFest for short – is featuring showings of four films based on Lehane’s works. This is the 17th annual AhFest, which encourages the entire community to explore cultural, artistic and educational events surrounding a central theme. The theme this year is Us and Them.

“Mystic River,” “Gone Baby Gone,” “Shutter Island” and “The Drop” will be screened at the Muskegon Museum of Art throughout October, and Dennis himself will deliver the AhFest closing lecture on October 27th.
